In addition, he was able to learn about the old Gods and Goddesses with it, and about those mythical fantastical creatures called monsters and faeries. This propelled a fascination for all things ancient, and pushed him further away from studying geology and going into Archaeology. As an altar boy for the Catholic Church, he was also considering Priesthood.
