Young Thomas fell into a fever that had his parents very worried. They didn’t know if he would survive. He was speaking gibberish. The language he spoke was incomprehensible. It didn’t make sense. They called the Doctor promptly. While in fever, the Doctor said that young Thomas appeared to be speaking some form of ancient language, it was closest to what he would imagine was Ancient Egyptian – a now dead language. He was fine the next day. Shortly after this incident, Young Thomas was drawing pictures of Ancient Egyptian temples and became obsessed with King Tut, Nefertiti, and Akhenaten. For a while, young Thomas started to imagine that “God” was the “sun” and was called “Aten”. While in Catholic mass, he would say “Aten” instead of “Amen”. He thought it was more catchy at the time. But he remained a staunch monotheist. He believed there was only one God. That was the all giving light providing Sun God.
