They hit their usual Starbucks on Dawson street for a Chai n’ WiFi fix. They grabbed some candy from Moldova. Lady Etain’s mom picked them up from the bus station and took them home to the family homestead. Graine headed back to her brass shop to finish working for the day. They pretty much had the parent’s house to themselves and Lady Etain fell back into her old style habits of sleeping in and lounging around the family home. Sit Thomas was eager to go exploring holy wells and sacred sites, but Lady Etain just wanted a day or two in bed to rest and relax. Sir Thomas caught up with his blogging, writing, and web design – trying to understand how and why the Irish do certain things. “Dinner” was served for lunch, a nice meal made by Queen Graine for the two … lamb, potatoes, mushy peas, and vegetables. Desserts as well. She was an amazing cook Sir Thomas thought. They watched some tv, chatted with the folks, and had a low-key day at home. Family is so important Sir Thomas thought, this was a good thing. Research was on the back burner.

They were soon to move to the United States as Sir Thomas’ mother needed care taking help. They looked into health insurance as they found out they were pregnant as well. They didn’t tell Lady Etain’s parents yet, as they still did not know the two were married either. It was a confusing and complex time for them.

Mileage: 0

Accounting: Cash to SBCard 10 Euro, Aircoach Dublin to Cork Return 44 Euro, Dublin Bus 2 Euro, -9 USD Toll Free Forwarding bill, July paycheck from Ninerniner blogging +$50 – 1.75 paypal fee, -.90 Euro for snacks from Moldova

[ HOME ] [ Love Story of Oisin and Etain ] [ PREVIOUS DAY ] [ NEXT DAY ]

A view of this day in 2011, and 2010.

Thursday, 2 August 2012~ Dublin – Waterford, Ireland ~ Weather: Cool and overcast Sir Thomas and Lady Etain went down to Cork via Aircoach and Dublin Bus to visit with her parents, family and friends.
