Sir Thomas awoke from dreams about when he was at Starwood, chatting to a friend who belonged to the Church of Satan, who told him a tale about how one of the members of the Eagles had gotten involved with Anton LaVey’s daughter, went home with her to the “Hotel California”, the then headquarters of the Church of Satan. He was unable to leave, caught up by her beauty, passion, drugs, and the fast life – missing band practice, and only escaping to bring out the song that made them such a hit. This of course is an urban legend, as Sir Thomas had written about here: http:\/\/www.technogypsie.com\/faerie\/?p=2665<\/A>. <\/p>\n

A new life was in front of the explorers, as they were moving to “Vegantopia” with plans to buy the estate. Now they were transporting some of the last of their belongings from Colorado as well as South Carolina. Up the west coast, Sir Thomas was excited to show Lady Etain the states with this trip now completing a complete drive-around circle of the United States for her … gifting her over 38 states. The same for the Prince, however he won’t remember it sadly.<\/p>\n

The adventurers packed up the tent, sleeping bags, and gear from their beach site campsite and proceeded to continue through the majestic Redwoods. A calling down a trail intrigued Sir Thomas as wandered a bit from camp to a little faerie house … he left some offerings there to the fae, remnants of their breakfast. Onwards the adventurers went, moving across the border into the State of Oregon, their new home. <\/p>\n

They drove into Brookings<\/A> along Highway 101, and briefly stopped at the Giant ship museum that seems eternally closed. Every time Sir Thomas has passed this, it has been closed. They drove on into one of Sir Thomas’ favorite Oregon coastal towns, “Gold Beach<\/A>” and they soaked up the visual imagery that is otherworldly stunning. The mysteries of this coast, the history, the shipwrecks, pirates and hidden treasure, are all items Sir Thomas would love to delve deeper into. This particular beach with its own history. They stopped on Gold Beach to tromp on the sand, explore the tidal pools, and get some glimpses of the seals and sea lions on the rocks. <\/p>\n

They dropped by the Prehistoric Gardens of the Oregon Coast to view the dinosaur statues and displays. They drove on into Coos Bay<\/A>, stopping off to look for hidden and found treasures, antique stores, and forgotten magical items. They discovered a cool antique store called “Leaf’s Treehouse”, making Sir Thomas Leaf feeling quite at home. After treasure hunting in the treehouse, they got back on the highway headed north to the Oregon dunes<\/A> in Reedsport. They stopped in the Dunes to camp for the night, setting up the tent, starting up a campfire, and enjoying one another’s company until fatigue got the best of them.<\/p>\n
