Sir Thomas awoke long before Lady Etain and the Prince … crawling out of bed onto the laptop to get some accounting, blogging, and web works accomplished before they awoke. They stayed at the Days Inn<\/A> in Modesto. After a continental breakfast, the adventurers piled into the caravan and headed towards San Francisco<\/A>. Traffic was a hungry bear, so they skipped going through the city, side-skirting it to the coast highway 101. They got some good views of the Bay, passed by the infamous Hotel California<\/A> (of Beach Boys song and Church of Satan repute)<\/I>, and headed on up into Willits<\/A>, the Gateway city of the Redwoods. They passed through hopsland and the vineyards, past Confusion Hill<\/A> which unfortunately was closed for the season already, and went on into Garberville. They were bound for the coast to find a camping site along the shores. They camped just outside of Crescent City, setting up the tent, camp, grill, and a nice campfire. Great times were had, marshmallows roasted, and a good nightcap before sleep under the stars. <\/p>\n
