White Salmon, Washington – Bend, Oregon <\/I><\/p>\n
Good news came over the wire yesterday that their was some fieldwork down in Bend, Oregon. That was just what the adventurers needed as they needed to escape the hell hole they had been trapped in all winter. Early this morning they packed up the Explorer, bid farewell to the Rogues and hit the road for Bend. Sir Thomas stretched his legs along the journey to prepare for the survey work. <\n
They dropped by Dairy Queen in Hood River for lunch and ice cream treats. They picked up some more propane for camping at Walmart. They also grabbed the Prince a bubble stick and cupcakes for the road trip.
\nP>The explorers drove most the day across some icy and snow covered areas in the Cascades, but eventually made it down to Bend. They stopped the night at a hotel for some rest and relaxation as they couldn’t check into the work hotel until tomorrow. They had a good night’s sleep, restful, and without the annoyance of the drunken rogues. It gave the a sense of peace they’ve needed for a long time, making themselves feel human. Comfy beds and good rest, the Prince excited to be in a hotel again, they watched the Sunset from the Sunset hotel and passed out early. <\/p>\n
