Sunday, 3 January 2016<\/B><\/BR>White Salmon, Washington<\/A><\/I><\/p>\n Weary and star-eyed, perplexed with nightmarish dreams of overdue bills and financial stress Sir Thomas Leaf rolled off the bed onto his laptop to contemplate how to dig his family out of this mess. Another day of dreading bills and the lack of income the struggling adventurers had. Trapped in the snow they felt hopelessness. They began to see some snow melt but not enough to get their merchant trailer that was buried into the woods, and unable to see the light at the end of the tunnel since no income sources were on the horizon. The start of the New Year was grim. After a breakfast of eggs and bacon … Sir Thomas Leaf, Lady Etain, and Prince Cian headed back into the Gorge to run errands, job hunt, and fill an order they had on Amazon. Before pulling out their explorer which was parked along the roadside they had to do some shoveling to even get on the road. The Sienna was buried in Sir Miles driveway. Tromping through deep snow down the long wooded path they made their way out and about. They stopped to admire a Xmas decoration on a kids playhouse in Husum<\/A> of Christmas Snoopy on top of it. After errands, they returned back to the rapid river retreat. They tromped down the long forest path in deep snow, carrying things from the car back to the Cliff Hanger. Sir Thomas fired up the roadster grill making brats for dinner. They didn’t run into Sir Miles or Kevin at all. The woods were quiet and bleak … as seemed the New Year’s outlook minus the raging White Salmon river below them. After dinner the weary adventurers retired to some episodes of the new “X-files” before the night’s slumber. <\/p>\n Mileage: 20 miles<\/B><\/p>\n
