They drove by the <A HREF=\"http:\/\/www.technogypsie.com\/reviews\/?p=25907\">White Eagle McMennanin&#8217;s Hotel<\/A> where they were staying but did not get in contact. So they went to the <A HREF=\"http:\/\/www.technogypsie.com\/reviews\/?p=25903\">Grand Central Cafe<\/A> to await their call. They enjoyed hot cross buns and chai while waiting. The Prince was getting impatient, so Lady Etain took him around the corner to a park to play while Sir Thomas tried to get in contact with Sciencequeen via facebook and internet. No luck, Sir Thomas Leaf headed out to the playground to retrieve Lady Etain and the Prince, then they drove over to McMannamin&#8217;s White Eagle as it was now open. They seated themselves in the tavern, had an appetizer and a drink while waiting hopefully that Sciencequeen and her mate would arrive back. The connection alas did not happen, so they paid their bill and headed back to the road. They drove east along the interstate to <A HREF=\"http:\/\/www.technogypsie.com\/reviews\/?p=25911\">Troutdale<\/A> and the Gateway to the Columbia River. They drove the scenic route and made their way to <A HREF=\"http:\/\/www.technogypsie.com\/reviews\/?p=25915\">Cascade Locks<\/A> and <A HREF=\"http:\/\/www.technogypsie.com\/reviews\/?p=7643\">Multinomah Falls<\/A> for some rest and relaxation. That evening, they crossed the <A HREF=\"http:\/\/www.technogypsie.com\/reviews\/?p=26777\">Bridge of the Gods<\/A> and continued down the Interstate to the <A HREF=\"http:\/\/www.technogypsie.com\/reviews\/?p=24107\">The Dalles<\/A> and rested for the night at the <A HREF=\"http:\/\/www.technogypsie.com\/reviews\/?p=29149\">Oregon Motor Motel<\/A>.
