White Salmon – Husum, Washington – Hood River, Oregon<\/I>

Many dreams were had by Sir Thomas Leaf about the adventurer’s hike yesterday around Mosier<\/A> and its tunnels<\/A> along the Historic Columbia River Highway<\/A>. It was a passage of sorts to the new upcoming adventure this summer. Sir Thomas Leaf awoke early to a day of chores. While Lady Etain stayed behind at the Cliffhanger, Sir Thomas took the Prince to the library. He headed into town early to find the White Salmon library was closed for remodeling. Disappointed, they headed across the Hood River bridge, paid the toll, and went to the Hood River library so the Prince could play. <\/p>\n

Sir Thomas took the Prince to Dairy Queen for the $5 buck lunch and did some wifi while the Prince played in the play area and got work done, prepared an order, and headed off home with the Prince. He forgot to drop off the order at the Hood River post office, so narrowly caught the Husum post office in time for a drop off. It was a sincere pleasure for Sir Thomas to see that the snow banks along the roadside were starting to disappear off the landscape. A pit stop at the Shell station at BZ Corner, he ran his errands and returned home to the Cliffhanger. Sorting through their inventory and trying to arrange items to list having to do it offline since they are currently living off the grid. Times have been hard and Sir Thomas Leaf believed this was the hardest winter yet in his life. An evening with the family, cooking on the George Forman and rice cooker, they nestled up to movies and writing into the cold of the night.
