Sunday 13 March 2016<\/B> Another day of getting up at the crack of dawn, slipping out of the hotel room trying not to wake the Prince and Lady Etain. Sir Thomas was off on another eight hour day of travel and pedestrian survey across BLM land that was charred by the wildfires in the area last fall. They got to the survey area and proceeded to hike up and down the hills, valleys, gullies, and ruts looking for cultural remains. Hiking up in the hills they instantly were hit by snow flurries making visibility very difficult to proceed. They went as far as they could and eventually sought shelter back in the work trucks to see if the weather would pass. It didn’t and they had a shortened field day returning back to the motel. Sir Thomas enjoyed the early day so he could play and hug his little Prince, and spend time with his bride. They plotted out some festivals they were going to do this summer inbetween the archaeological surveys. Sir Thomas however was fearful that today’s blizzard might cancel the rest of the project. He had his fingers crossed that was not the case as they needed the income.
