January 17, 2016.<\/p><\/div><\/I><\/FONT><\/DIV><\/p>\n<p><P><I><B>Sunday, 17 January 2016<\/B><BR><A HREF=\"http:\/\/www.technogypsie.com\/reviews\/?p=25077\">Mosier<\/A> &#8211; Hood River, <A HREF=\"http:\/\/www.technogypsie.com\/reviews\/?p=1149\">Oregon<\/A><\/I><br \/>\n<P>Sir Thomas, Lady Etain, and the Prince of Endurance awoke early anxious to get away from the snowed in conditions at the Cliff Hanger. Breakfast and packing up the Explorer, they drove down into the Gorge and headed along the historic highway. They decided to explore the small village of <A HREF=\"http:\/\/www.technogypsie.com\/reviews\/?p=25077\">Mosier<\/A> today. This breathtaking small artist community was charming. They decided to view the art, take a hike on the Mosier Plateau Trail, and visit the infamous <A HREF=\"http:\/\/www.technogypsie.com\/reviews\/?p=25083\">Mosier tunnels<\/A> that the <A HREF=\"http:\/\/www.technogypsie.com\/reviews\/?p=25089\">original highway<\/A> once cut through as it followed the edge of the Columbia River back in the day. They were impressed with how bicycle friendly the town was, ecological, and balanced. Prince Cian was excited with the bicycle repair station downtown. Hiking up the Mosier trails to the tunnels provided them with breathtaking views of the Columbia River and the valleys including <A HREF=\"http:\/\/www.technogypsie.com\/reviews\/?p=25095\">18 mile island<\/A>. The tunnels were historic and impressive &#8230; echoes of the past mesmerizing. After a beautiful hike, they returned down into the valley to Hood River where they settled in at Starbucks for chai n&#8217; wifi, blogging, job hunting, and catching up with friends as where they lived was off-the-grid with no internet. After the Prince got restless, they returned back across the bridge to White Salmon back into the snow, ice, and cold. Hopeful they could escape their predicament again. It was refreshing to have an outing and get some hope Sir Thomas thought.
